Services we offer

  • A multi-session class to identify barriers to employment and prepare the client for applications, interviews, and the job search. Services include, but are not limited to, mock applications, mock interviews, resume and portfolio editing, and teaching the client how to be their own job developer.

  • Personalized job search assistance that avoids the common methods of scrolling job sites, while doing the real work of connecting with hiring managers. We also equip clients to become their own job developer and have regular check-ins to maintain momentum.

  • “Day in the life” experiences to help clients discover potential career paths of interest.

  • Multi-week temporary work experiences to evaluate the client’s ability to work in Competitive Integrated Employment. Kusky Services pays the wages and covers all liabilities.

  • Kusky Services can provide a certified Job Coach to assist a client during training of a new job or a work experience.

  • We have a certified Benefits Counselor on staff to provide a personalized report detailing how work will affect a client’s federal, state, and local benefits.

Skills we teach

  • Individualized training focused on gaining mastery over daily living activities such as personal care skills, home management skills, financial management, health and safety, using transportation services, social and interpersonal skills, and more.

  • Sessions focused on defining self-advocacy, identifying situations that require advocacy, and learning what resources and methods are available to them. Training focused on education, personal, and workplace settings.

  • We teach how to understand the basics of conflict, different response styles, use self-reflection, work with different worldviews, and develop a personal growth plan.
